The first Montessori class was established at the school in February 1992 to enable Montessori based education to continue past early childhood and into primary school.
We cater for all primary aged children and have a wide range of backgrounds and cultures within our classrooms.
We welcome all children and families who wish to join the Montessori strand. Children do not have to have attended a Montessori preschool/school to join our strand, however Ōtari School operates an enrolment zone. Please visit the school website for further information.
